The John McGivney Children’s Centre stands as a symbol of hope, providing compassionate care designed to enhance the quality of life of children within our city as well as their families and peers. The JMCC provides rehabilitative service to the Windsor and Essex community, enriching the lives of children and youth with special needs by helping them reach their full potential. Their therapy staff includes health care professionals and support staff who work closely with the child and their family to provide assessment

and treatment to meet their individual goals. These therapy services can be provided in a variety of environments, including at the centre, in schools, in the home, and at childcare centres.

Services offered at the JMCC include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services, as well as a cleft lip and palate clinic and a seating and mobility clinic. These therapies all work to improve the lives of youth who experience everyday difficulties with activities like crawling, walking, feeding, hand function, and communication as well as those with developmental disabilities.

Therapy services are funded through the Ministry of Children. All community and social services are offered free of charge to eligible children living in Windsor and Essex county. Your donation goes toward this wonderful organization and will benefit the lives of the children and workers providing and receiving the services. Thank you for your generosity in supporting such an amazing organization provided by and for the people of Windsor Essex County.
