Hello

My name is Katerina Amicone, and I am a second-year Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences student. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of serving as the Science Society’s 2024/2025 ArtSci Representative, where I worked to strengthen connections within our faculty.

My Platform

As a dedicated member of Science Society, I:

Designed the official Science Society T-shirt logo for the 2024/2025 year.
Created a memory board for the Scientists in the Spotlight Annual Charity Gala.
Won Representative of the Year (2024/2025) for my commitment to student engagement.
Served on the External Affairs Subcommittee, helping to secure sponsorships for our Annual Charity Gala.

Now, I’m running for Vice President of External Affairs because I believe in fostering meaningful collaborations between students, clubs, and external organizations to expand opportunities for our science community.

My Goals as VP External Affairs:

I will act as a liaison between departmental clubs and Science Society to foster collaboration and strengthen our science community.
I will build meaningful connections with students and organizations to maximize engagement and opportunities.
I will strengthen our faculty's connection with our Charity of the Year, ensuring meaningful contributions and student involvement.
I will advocate for student interests in external partnerships and collaborations.
